The ELEMIS Traveller GWP 2023 campaign, created in collaboration with the William Morris Archive, was rooted in a richly detailed print and shoot aesthetic inspired by heritage Morris wallpaper and Super 8 film. While visually distinctive, the campaign lacked a motion-first approach to translate this craftsmanship into engaging digital content across social and paid channels. There was also the added complexity of working with a protected archive, requiring all creative outputs to meet strict approval standards.

I led the motion and social asset creation, developing a layered animation system that brought the iconic William Morris patterns to life. Using Adobe Illustrator and After Effects, I animated the wallpaper to organically grow across the canvas, creating a sense of movement that honoured the original designs while enhancing digital storytelling.

To align with the Super 8-inspired shoot direction, I introduced textured overlays, grain, and subtle SFX to emulate an analogue film quality, ensuring cohesion between motion and live-action footage. All assets were designed for multi-platform rollout and submitted for approval through the William Morris Archive, balancing creative expression with heritage compliance. The result was a distinctive, elevated motion suite that extended the campaign beyond static visuals into an immersive, scroll-stopping digital experience.
